The Limbic Artworks

The Limbic Artworks are the pieces created by Raúl Gasque inspired in nature, poetry and transcultural communication.

These artworks are made with beeswax, pigments, flowers and natural elements that Gasque first gather and prepare to after incorporate it to the artwork.

The Limbic Artworks are abstract and avoid any kind of figurative scenario since it wants to transcend common iconography and the traditional use of symbols.

They are made with the intervention of the natural environment that surrounds Gasque's art practice. Such as rain, wind and the sun.

Each Limbic Artwork takes from four months to more than four years to be released for exhibiting, developing dialogues and for collecting purposes.

The gallery below shows some of the most important artworks created by Raúl Gasque in the last five years in Yangming Mountain ( 陽明山) National Park, Taipei, Taiwan.  Some of these Limbic Artworks are part now of private art collections. Others, are still available for a wide no long range of purposes such as collecting or showing at exhibitions in galleries and museums prior private request.
